Director / Campus Rabbi 

Rabbi Yossi serves as the Executive Director of Chabad at Texas A&M University. A proud native Texan, he and his wife Manya arrived in Aggieland in 2007 to establish the Rohr Chabad Jewish Student and Community Center. As an affiliate of Chabad on Campus and Texas Friends of Chabad Lubavitch, the center has become a vibrant hub for Jewish life, learning, and community at Texas A&M.

 

2.pngMrs. Manya Lazaroff
Co-Director

Manya is the co-founder of Chabad at Texas A&M University and a native of Brooklyn, New York. Her warmth and vibrant spirit are at the heart of Jewish life in Aggieland. A gifted educator, Manya is the author of courses such as Sober Dating and Kabbalah of the Holidays, and she teaches the nationally acclaimed Sinai Scholars course, along with daily classes both on and off campus. She is also an international speaker, dating coach, and a trusted mentor to many students and young professionals.

 

14.pngRabbi Menachem Lazaroff
Educational Director / Campus Rabbi

Menachem was raised in Aggieland and continued his Rabbinic studies in Israel, Baltimore, New York and New Haven. He received his Rabbinical ordination in 2022. In 2023-2024, Menachem worked as the Director of CYP Academy, producing curriculum for over 3000 Jewish Young Professionals across the US. Menachem is excited to come back as the director of education and development at Chabad at Texas A&M, spearheading a new initiative of Torah study for students, grad students, alumni and faculty.

Community Programming and Development

Moussie was born and raised in Twin Cities, MN and continued her studies in Chicago and Israel. With years of experience in youth and young adult programming, including work for several Chabad centers, Tzivos Hashem International and The Wellness Institute, Moussie is excited to join the team, organizing programs and events for faculty and their families, grad students and alumni.

2025-26 Zinbarg Israel Engagement Fellow

Leah, from Ra’anana, Israel, will be joining Chabad at Texas A&M as the Israel Engagement Intern. Passionate about connecting students to Israel, Leah will promote opportunities such as Birthright, Onward Israel, and study abroad programs. With her warm personality and firsthand perspective, she’s excited to inspire meaningful conversations and help Jewish Aggies strengthen their connection to the land and people of Israel.

Sara, from Melbourne, Australia, recently completed an inspiring year of study in Tzfat, Israel. She's excited to bring her passion and warmth to Chabad at Texas A&M, where she'll be connecting with students and contributing to dynamic and creative programming throughout the year.

2025-26 Student Engagement Zinbarg Fellow

Originally from Hallandale, Florida, Shayna recently completed a transformative year of Torah study in Tzfat, Israel. She is excited to spend the year at Chabad of Texas A&M, where she looks forward to connecting with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping create dynamic and engaging Jewish experiences on campus.
