Bring a Mikvah to College Station, Texas

Where is this place called Aggieland?

Aggieland is home to the largest University in Texas and is one of the largest Universities in the USA. It is located in Brazos County with its largest cities of College Station and Bryan.

Without a local option, Jewish women who live in the region have not been able to access a Mikvah, the cornerstone of Jewish life. Currently, the closest drive to a Mikvah is 4-hours of travel!

Building a Mikvah in College Station will give our local Jewish community access to this vital Mitzvah, the foundation of Jewish family life.

Our community Mikvah will be a learning center for many future families, as we have the opportunity to introduce and educate thousands of Jewish neshamos about this beautiful Mitzvah. For many, we are their first introduction to Mikvah and its value to Jewish life. As our students graduate and look to establish their own Jewish home, the education they receive here inspires them to incorporate Mikvah in their own Jewish home.

From it's inception, Chabad of Brazos Valley has been hard at work making all aspects of Jewish life accessible to students and community. From providing kosher food, Jewish Education classes, Hebrew School, Holiday events, prison visitations and more. Chabad is there for every Jew at every stage and throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Chabad has been an active in delivering face masks, food to the homebound and support to those in need.
