How is the Jewish life in Dallas for Former Students? Any good opportunities to mingle?
Dallas has the most well organized Young Jewish Adult community in Texas. There are countless organizations directly for young Jewish professionals/singles/etc. There is at least one social opportunity every night of the week; often 2 or 3 options. Every Monday and Thursday I go to classes at Intown Chabad I really enjoy learning with Rabbi Chanan Rose. I really appreciate Rabbi Tzvi Drizin’s and Rabbi Chanan Rose’s commitment to building a Jewish community in Uptown.
What do you love most about Jewish life on campus?
Rabbi Yossi and Manya Lazaroff, kosher cooking club, uniting Jews, triplets, and sushi salad. The notion of university life in America is very self-centered and plutonic; Rabbi and Manya are able to add in much needed depth.
