Why did you choose Texas A&M?
I love all the traditions it had to offer and just a place that I really felt like I was at home. It also had an amazing Jewish life and I really was looking for that in my college to help my Judaism grow.
What was your major and why did you decide to pursue such a degree?
I am majoring in Special Education. I decided to major in this degree because I truly love getting to see the smile you can bring someone just by doing the smallest things. I have always loved helping others and this is something that I can see the progress grow.
What is your favorite book? Why?
Yes Please by Amy Poehler because it is always gives me a great laugh.
What do you look forward to when coming to Chabad?
I look forward to all the loving people that just welcome me with warming hugs. Once, I get there it is hard to leave. I also love getting pied in the face from the kids with their toys.
What do you love about Jewish life on campus?
Even though it is small I absolutely love how everyone is so close and how close-knit it is. Honestly it is like a big family that helps you get through everything.
Do you plan on going to graduate school at A&M?
Sadly no they do not have a Speech Pathology program.
Do you have any siblings?
Yes, one older brother
What is your favorite Jewish food?
Oooo! That is hard. Either koogle or challah.
What is your favorite food?
Anything I can eatJ
What is your favorite Jewish childhood memory?
Getting all my family together on the holidays and having just everyone be around while I got to see my cousins. Also, getting to eat my grandmother’s food.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
Israel
What is at the top of your bucket list?
Parasailing, graduate college, and skydiving
Did you prefer living on campus or off campus? What would you recommend to freshmen?
I have only lived on campus so, but freshman live on campus but don’t do random dorm.
If you could have one wish for anything in the world what would it be?
To wish everyone good health and happiness!
If you were able to have one superpower what would it be?
Read minds!
How did you get involved with Chabad?
My bother he always would talk about it and then when I came to visit him and Zoe took me and I met everyone and instantly fell in love.
Do you have plans for after graduation?
Yes to become a speech pathologist and have my own business for kids. But I also want to personally work at an old age home with stoke victims to help them.
