What is your name?

Jonathan Rahmani

Where are you from?

Born in Miami Beach, been in North Dallas since 2003.

What is your major?

Kinesiology – Exercise Physiology

What year are you? What wildcat noise is that?

2015 – A A A WHOOOOP!

Why did you choose Texas A&M?

Visited CS while I was in 8th grade for parents-weekend (my brother was a freshman at the time) and fell in love with the campus and what it had to offer. Ultimately only applied to A&M as a HS Senior.

What are you involved in here at A&M?

I’ve been active in Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity (Sammy), Hillel, Chabad, and Interfraternity Council (IFC).

Do you have any older or younger siblings?

2 older brothers – Josh and David (class of 2010)

Do you have any animals? Can they do any neat tricks?

I have 2 dogs back home, Tasha, a black lab, and Allie, a German Shepherd mix. They both know how to make food disappear pretty quickly, and they like to bark at squirrels.

What is your favorite book? Why?

That changes on a monthly basis, but recently I really liked The Celestine Prophecy.

Where did you go to high school?

Richardson High School (9th-10th) and Richland Collegiate HS (11th-12th)

What is your favorite Jewish food?

Impossible to list them all, but fresh Challah is pretty awesome.

What is your favorite food?

These questions are really tough… I like barbeque, Mediterranean, and Mexican food

What has been your favorite Chabad experience until now?

Guy’s night at Chabad is always a ton of fun.

What is one thing that would enhance Jewish life on campus?

I think Jewish life at A&M is pretty awesome already.

What do you currently have in your pocket?

Keys, wallet, and a phone.

If you had a message for freshmen what would it be?

Get involved, be spontaneous, try new things, and always go to Shabbat Dinner.

What do you love most about being an Aggie (I mean you’re always an Aggie)? WHOOP!

Tailgates, football season, and Northgate.

What has been your most enjoyable class at university thus far?

Haha that’s funny ;)

What is your favorite color (think the whole Crayola color scheme)?

It depends on the weather.

If you could have one superpower what would it be?

To be able to stop time.

Did you prefer living on campus or off campus?

Never lived on campus.

What do you love most about Jewish life on campus?

Everybody knows each other, and the food is usually pretty good!
